I am very active when it comes to networking and speaking about my business. I show up. I post. I care deeply about what I do. But I will be honest, I am not always consistent with videos. I am not always fluent with the rhythm of constant posting.
I am very active when it comes to networking and speaking about my business. I show up. I post. I care deeply about what I do. But I will be honest, I am not always consistent with videos. I am not always fluent with the rhythm of constant posting. I do share something every week, yet sometimes it feels like I should be doing more. The truth is, building a business while being a parent is not simple. Most networking events are designed for people who do not have the daily responsibility of raising a child. Early mornings, late evenings, last-minute changes - they are easier when you are only responsible for yourself. When you are a parent, your time is not entirely yours. And that can make you feel behind. Looking at this image, the light is not loud. It is not overwhelming. Yet it is still there. We may not be shining brightly on social media every single day, but we are still shining. This is not a sprint. It is a marathon. There will be weeks when we are less visible. Weeks when we are not as “social” in our businesses. Weeks when home needs us more. And that is not failure. That is priority. Because at the end of the day, the people who will remember you the most are not the ones who saw every post or attended every event. It will be your children.
