Let me show you one of Aberdeen’s hidden gems… but first, this was my week. I met Ritu Awasthi (@samagrahealth) for coffee, who is giving a free online session on the 19th of May at 6.30 pm as part of the Grampian Wellbeing Festival. If you are a business owner who wants to explore meditation, it’s a wonderful place to start. While I was preparing my online talk for ASB on 28th of May at 6 pm, the link is in my stories, I was interrupted by this cute pheasant. Now, back to what I promised. I was invited to a networking event at @cwt_compass_project. This is a place in the suburbs of Cults where they grow fruit and vegetables organically. If your kids are doing the DOE, this is a great option as they welcome volunteers. You can also celebrate birthday parties or hold business meetings there, and they have a great area for indoor sports too. It is a charity focused on wellbeing, and they are also planning to open a café, which is very exciting news for me because I love cafés and gardens, so the combination is perfect. Beyond the unpredictable weather, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are beautiful places to live, with lovely independent cafés and beautiful architecture.
